What is this wiki about?[]
This wiki is me using the product I run for Fandom in order to better understand our customers. As an early adopter of Social Media (Friendster, Facebook, Twitter), it occurred to me that I would be among the first Iamses with a comprehensive digital record that antecedents might someday pore over to understand how the past might inform the future. Unfortunately, these social platforms have devolved into sectarian cesspools and/or glamour shots to keep up with the Joneses. These platforms can't convey a digital legacy that is representative of me, but this Wiki just might.
What is the objective of this wiki?[]
This Wiki's objective is to compile my present day interests, provide a place for me to write, and to house a digital record that future Iamses in my line might find entertaining and maybe even informative (no promises!). Instead of dwelling on the 'greatest hits,' this will be the metaphorical equivalent of that dusty box in the basement with scraps, mementos, and brick-a-brack. My plan is to throw things on here and see what happens. Perhaps this record will establish a kernel for some sort of community. It's hard to envision how that might happen or why, but we're here to learn - so let's throw some sh*t at the wall and see what sticks!
